Bee Survey Group Starting Again in March

Measuring bee populations is vital for understanding the threat our pollinators are facing 🐝. It helps us understand the impact of weather, climate and environment on our bees, and also helps us demonstrate the impact of Really Wild Lockleaze, and inspire others to get planting.

You can bee a part of the solution by joining our bee survey group! This involves an hour’s walk around Lockleaze, once a week on a sunny day- it’s important that the weather is clear, or the bees won’t be out.

You’ll learn loads about identifying bees, meet likeminded people, and have a great excuse to get outdoors once a month.

Contact Eric at ecologist@lockleazent.co.uk or 07719 088065 to get involved, and join the Whatsapp group to stay up to date. If it's not raining, the first walk will be mid-morning on Wednesday 19th March.
