Lockleaze Community Feasts

We’re really pleased to announce that in 2025 we will be working with members of the Lockleaze community to put on eight Community Feasts! Each feast will be an opportunity to come together over free food, celebrate our community and most importantly to make new connections and enjoy each others' company. Some of the feasts will be created in partnership with the amazing 91 ways, who are experts in creating beautiful events that bring people together over food. The feasts will be spread throughout the year, and each will feature food to share and a theme for us to come together around.

The first Community Feast will be Lockleaze Community Iftar, from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday 22nd March. This event was organised by residents to celebrate Ramadan and bring our whole community together over a shared meal. There will be delicious food, time to socialise and time for prayer, reflection or learning. Everyone is welcome to attend but space is limited, so book your free space here if you’d like to attend.

After that, there will be a Family Feast after Easter, and in May there's an Ideas Feast for you to share ideas and projects you'd like to take place in Lockleaze this year. We're looking forward to seeing you all.

Lockleaze Climate & Nature Festival with the Lockleaze Youth Eco Team, Saturday 21 June, 2 - 7 pm at Gainsborough Square, including a procession, music and lots of activities

Summer Fest with 91 ways, Saturday 12 July, 1 - 4 pm at Gainsborough Square

Harvest Festival, Friday 19 Sept, 4 - 6 pm at the Hub

Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust Open Day + AGM, Wednesday 12 Nov, 12 - 7 pm with food in the evening at the Hub
