Lockleaze big meadow planting day

Thursday 10th April, 1pm - 4pm, Gainsborough Square

Get out in the sun and help the bees, birds and butterflies by getting involved in the Big Community Meadow Planting on Gainsborough Square. Rake and sow, or just stop by for a chat- we’d love to see you there. Bring the children or the grandchildren for a lovely Easter holiday afternoon. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing, and bring water. You can see & comment on the meadow plans here. Free event.

For 8-12 year olds, Monday to Friday 10am - 2pm except Bank Holiday Friday 18th

Activities for 8-12 year olds including crafts, outdoor play, cooking, bike repair with LifeCycle on Tuesday and Steve England Outdoor Learning on Thursday. Suggested donation for lunch £2- £4 unless on free school meals.

Saturday 12th April 10am - 2pm, The Old Library

Local people selling plants, homemade items, clothes, jewellery and more, plus The Old Library Cafe. Free entry.

Wellbeing Walk: Stoke park sculpture trail

Wednesday 16th April 10am - 11:30am, meet and finish at the Hub, Gainsborough Square

Explore Stoke Park with a gentle walk along the sculpture trail! Refreshments and a bake sale are available afterwards at Hubbub Cafe. Bring your friends, cameras and walking shoes.

Wednesday 16th April 10:30am - 12pm at the Hub, Gainsborough Square

Pop up to the Hub, enjoy friendly Hubbub Cafe and delicious baked goods in support of the Vench’s cooking club.

Field Stories Guided Walk

Pick up a free copy of the guided walk in the Hub Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm, and do the walk whenever you want! Learn about nature, Lockleaze history and visit beautiful sculptures designed with local children.

Easter Egg Hunt at Lockleaze Sports Centre

Friday 18th April 12am - 3pm, Lockleaze Sports Centre

A fun-filled Easter event with exciting activities for the whole family! Craft, sports, disco, Easter egg hunt and more. Ticket Prices: Under 2’s: FREE, 3-12 years: £5 per child, 13-16 years: £2.50 per teen, 17+ years: £1 per adult. Book here.
