Wreath Making Workshops - how they went.
24 residents joined us for another two fabulously festive workshops last week.
It may have been -2 outside but in the Cameron Centre it was warm and filled with Christmas fragrance.
Everyone was delighted with their finished wreaths that were made entirely of local natural materials and they can be refreshed and reused every year. Not a single piece of plastic was used and the group even learnt how to make their own string under the expert guidance of Steve England.
We had 100% positive feedback-everyone felt welcome, enjoyed the activity and loved learning about plants and their uses.
And they were all pleasantly surprised about how much fun getting creative in a group can be. Well done everyone, they looked and smelt amazing!
These workshops were supported by Abri and part of Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust’s Affordable Christmas campaign.
Dont forget its the Light Up Lockleaze event Thursday 7th Dec starting at 4.30pm-bring your lanterns, wear your Christmas jumper and join us for some festive fun!
