Gardening for Well-being starting at The Vench!
FANCY GARDENING AND LEARNING OUTDOOR SKILLS WITH OTHER PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY?
DO YOU FEEL LIKE SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS WOULD BE GOOD FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING?
Gardening for Our Well-being is a weekly group that uses a mixture of gardening, nature and outdoor craft activities, together with brief discussions to help our well-being.
It’s run by the Gardening Team: Lisa Dicker, a Community Development Worker who supports older adults to engage in the community and runs various groups.
Rob Dixon, a registered Occupational Therapist in mental health who uses activity and positive feedback to help people to improve their own well-being, including by running gardening and nature-based groups.
