Bee Conservation Trust visit The Hub
To celebrate WildFlower week we had a delightful visit at The Hubbub Cafe from the Bee Conservation Trust.
They brought along lots of information about how we can all make our gardens more bee friendly and were introduced to Billy the Bee and learnt how bees see flowers and the hidden markings they have to guide the bees to the pollen.
We then popped into Boing! so some of our younger residents could meet Billy too.
The Bee Conservation Trust were very impressed with the array of wildflowers in the Cameron Centre garden and at how many bees they saw.
As we support the no mow May campaign our garden will look a little untidy but the bees and other pollinators really do benefit.
Pop in to the Hub to find out more.
