Below is the updated programme of works for the Trinity Academy Highways Improvement

Phase 1 (preschool opening)

Romney Avenue Crossing – Waiting on delivery of the Belisha Beacons. Associated lining will be installed when the beacons are installed.

Cotman Walk Build Out and Crossing Improvements (Surface Course remaining)

Southbound Bus Stop works (Hayden Gardens) - Completed

Brangwyn Grove Speed Table Drainage Works – Completed (during Romney Avenue closure)

Brangwyn Grove School Entrance (Fence waiting on supplier to deliver) Using Herras Fencing until then.

Romney Avenue Bus Stop NB – Completed

Brangwyn Grove Speed Table Footway Works – Complete by 03/09/21

Rackham Close Dropped Kerbs – Completed

Orpen Gardens Dropped Kerbs – Completed

Hayden Gardens Dropped Kerbs – Completed

Gilray Close Dropped Kerbs - Completed

Romney Avenue Roadmarkings – Works commencing 01.09.21 to be completed by 06.09.21

Brangwyn Grove Roadmarkings – Works commencing 01.09.21 to be completed by 06.09.21

Phase 2 (post school opening)

4th Sept – 8th October Mullready Close Speed Table Pavement Works

11th October – 13th October Mullready Close Speed Table NIGHTWORKS (approximate dates, exact closure date TBC, 2-3 nights in total)

13th October – 15th October Brangwyn Grove Speed Table NIGHTWORKS (approximate dates, exact closure date TBC, 2-3 nights in total)

11th October – 18th October – Landseer Avenue Dropped Kerbs

18th October 22nd November - Constable Road Crossing

The improvements are a high priority for Transport. We are actively trying to bring forward the works if at all possible. All work on the highway will have all the appropriate Traffic Management in place to create a safe environment for students, residents and workers whilst the work is completed.
