"I Had Not Played Netball Since School" - Carly's Fitness Blog

Since beginning of September a group of us have been playing netball at The Vench (venue might be changing soon) on a Monday evening. It all started when Rebecca posted on the Love Lockleaze Facebook page asking if anyone wanted to play. When I joined I was unsure how it would be, I missed the first two sessions and I had not played netball since school. Would I remember the rules? would I be fit enough to keep up? Would it be fun like I remembered it was years ago?

The answer was yes, so fun!! We are so fortunate to have Petra in the group, who coaches netball and has so many ideas about fun warm ups and different games to play. Everyone takes it at their own pace and it's a little bit competitive, but in a fun way! The best thing has been feeling part of a community of really friendly woman and meeting new people I didn't know before. Most of us have not played for years and it's strange how you remember things you thought you forgot!
