Local Residents give the planter a makeover!

Local residents Ruth and Naomi put their skills that they have learned at The Vench gardening group to work by giving our planter a much needed makeover.

Ruth and Naomi volunteered their time, wheelbarrowing soil to fill the planter up and to get some lovely flowers and vegetables planted.

The planter is now the home of Sunflowers, Oxeye daisies, Strawberries, Chicory, Nasturtiums, , Thyme and Lettuce.

Huge thanks to Ruth and Naomi for offering their time and getting this done so beautifully.
