Young people, join us at The Vench, Lockleaze on Tuesdays in June 4:45 - 6:15 for a free three-part workshop series with Bristol-based international poet, writer, cultural producer & spoken word artist, Muneera Pilgrim.

Are you 11 - 16 and living in Lockleaze? We believe your voice matters! Join Muneera and a small group of young people to learn about the tools that poetry and spoken word can offer you to tune into your voice and feel empowered to use it. No experience necessary and no pressure to perform!

Each session will be 90 minutes and will include a mixture of discussions and writing, both in groups and individually. Participants are invited to attend ALL three sessions. We will create a safe and creative space in The Vench cafe area right off of the blooming Vench garden.
