We will meet at the water building behind the rugby pitch (grapes.youth.port on what3words). Feel free to call 07708 471787 on the day if you arrive later or can’t find us.

Car parking and bike racks are available by the main sports centre. The sports centre is open after 12pm and has toilets and a cafe.

Join our community ecologist for a wildlife walk across Stoke Park, to where some slow worms are being relocated due to housebuilding in Lockleaze. Learn about slow worms and how you can help them in your garden!

The walk will be over uneven ground. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear, and bring water!

Really Wild Lockleaze are really excited to feature in the Bristol Natural History Consortium’s Citizen Science Showcase!

Our event will debut ‘Wilding your Street: A How-To Guide’, a brand new resource created by the team to share everything we’ve learnt about rewilding in urban communities. We’re really proud of what’s been accomplished in Lockleaze, and we can’t wait to tell the world- especially so that other communities can learn from our experience. The event is online on Wednesday 26th February 6pm - 7pm, and will feature an intro to the guide and a Q and A with the team. You can book your place here, and please share widely!

Learn to use a scythe with Park Ranger Ash and the Stoke Park Community Group- and be part of maintaining beautiful Stoke Park!

We will be planting trees at the green on Romney Avenue (Coppers’) Green, Morris Road and Spalding Close. Meet at Romney Avenue at 10am, moving to Morris Road late morning, and Spalding Close around late morning. Really Wild Lockleaze has funding to support you to create new nature habitat on the space, so get involved, meet your neighbours and let’s get planning!
