Lockleaze Housing Festival, October 2019

Despite the wind and incredibly wet conditions, we had over 50 people brave the weather and take part in the Lockleaze Housing Festival - a celebration of what makes homes and places great. We had lots of fun running different kids activities, inviting discussions with the Council around the latest development proposals, working with the wonderful Curio who brought a fantastic light installation to Gainsborough Square and an incredible Caribbean spread made by one of our own very talented residents.

It was also a great opportunity to test affordability assumptions within the Turner Gardens project and discuss with people, the initial design priorities explored in previous events. So many fun and interesting conversations had, what an amazing community we have in Lockleaze!
