Its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas....

What a wonderful start to the festive season!

Each of the families who attended the free lantern making workshop made some wonderful memories making the large lanterns together ready for the procession at the Christmas community event.

And what a fantastic, if foggy, night it was!

It was truly heartwarming to see so many of our residents join in the procession and the carol singing around the tree.

A very special thank you to our two celebrities all the way from the USA-they were overwhelmed with the wonderful Lockleaze welcome.

And an extra special thank you to everyone at St Marys and St James for the warm drinks and opportunity to take a selfie with Mickey and Minnie.

Thank you Asda for the delicious mince pies-they were much appreciated.

This year both Trinity Academy and St Marys and St James contributed to the lights for the Community Christmas tree so together we could light up Lockleaze and we are thankful for their support.

As always our biggest thank you is to you, residents of Lockleaze for your continued support at our events.

If you missed out don't worry as you can pop in to the Hub to collect a make your own pom pom kit to add to the Community Christmas tree and dont forget we have the Lockleaze Winter Table Top Sale at the Cameron Centre on Saturday 10th Dec 9-12pm and Santa Street Visits on the 17th Dec 5-8pm

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
