Wellbeing Walks and learning about the Dower House

Three hardy walkers joined Jonathan today  on a bit of a tropical day to find out more about the fascinating backstory of Dower House (The Yellow Castle)

From comparisons to Windsor Castle and its royal tenants to its use as a children's hospital and tales of a young women ghost roaming its long corridors, a bit of Stoke Park's history!.

I asked the walkers what they thought of today's walk and here's what they had to say: " great to walk on the paths, good company, fascinating, interesting, lovely countryside,  pleasant, informative, learnt lots and peaceful"

You would be most welcome to join us on our next free gentle guided walk in Stoke Park on Wednesday 9th August.  Suitable for families.
