Intro to Buzz Community Garden & Anne-louise!
Buzz Community Garden
My name is Anne-Louise Perez, local resident, and I am an experienced freelance radio producer, presenter and writer who also happens to love being outdoors.
In my spare time I’m often exploring a woodland or a beach with Ziggystardog (my best friend), along the way foraging, cooking with wild foods, doing a little bushcraft, beachcombing, chatting to locals and camping in my van.
As I live in the area, being a part of the Really Wild Lockleaze project, giving some tender love and care to the Buzz Community Garden is right up my street.
A jack of all trades a master of none I'm looking forward to getting together with you there so that we can unleash our creativity, share knowledge and know-how, forge new friendships, and build a place in the heart of Lockleaze community, where you, your families and friends can come to enjoy the garden and wildlife.
You are all welcome, whether you're looking for some peace and quiet, want to try your hand at gardening or DIY, want to make new friends, or just want to relax at the picnic table with a cup of tea. No contribution is too small.
I’ll be there with tea and biscuits on Saturdays and Wednesdays from 10 -12 (behind Gainspace No. 6 Gainsborough square). These are drop-in sessions. Come when you can and it’s free.
I look forward to seeing you there!
