Walk to see the BT Tower, Graffiti and Goats
4 of us enjoyed a guided stroll to the BT Tower and we enjoyed seeing the bunkers, some graffiti art as well as 6 friendly goats.
We all felt better for getting out in the fresh air and enjoyed each other's company talking about lots of interesting things from cake recipes and fun things on in the area.
When I asked the walkers what they got out of today's walk one of them commented that they:
" loved the walk, the lovely area, with great views across the city and that they had walked further than they thought they could".
Join us for our next free guided walk on Tuesday 5th March to see the fascinating Mullers Museum (who cared for 10,000 orphans in Bristol)
We will meet at 10am at the Hub and walk to the Museum, just off Ashley Down Road- 3 miles and we will then look to get a bus back to the Hub (bring a few pounds) and will return to the Hub around 12.30am- 12.45.
To book your free place, pop into the Hub and speak with Jonathan, Wellbeing Navigator (I work at the Hub from Tuesday to Thursday), call 0117 9141129 or email wellbeing@lockleazent.co.uk
