CIL Fund Applications Open- get funding for local infrastructure projects

Its time to get your applications in!

Help shape the future of your community and prioritise what’s needed in Lockleaze.

Bristol City Council would like to invite local Lockleaze residents, either as individuals or as part of a community group, to submit applications to fund local infrastructure projects using the Community Infrastructure Levy fund (CIL).

This is money paid by developers to the council to offset the environmental impact of their developments. This year we will have around £75,000 to be shared between Lockleaze, Hillfields, Frome Vale and Eastville.

Please contact your local councillors with any questions, or to discuss ideas. Councillors will be working with Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust as community connectors to help shape and prioritise ideas. The Councillors for Lockleaze are Cllr. Heather Mack (cllr.heather.mack@bristol.gov.uk) and Cllr David Willcox (cllr.David.Wilcox@bristol.gov.uk).

Here is the link to the webpage with all the information you need to engage in the 2025 CIL process: Area committee funding process. It also includes information of what type of projects could be funded. Paper copies of application forms will also be available at The Hub.

There is an online information event at 6pm next Wednesday 19th February at this link. Please look out for upcoming informational videos, and further meetings.
