New Rail Station Opening!
Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust, together with two regular attendees of our Art for Wellbeing group, Alison and Zac, were excited to attend the opening event for the new rail station at Ashley Down.
Our group participated in two co design workshops to help create the Transport Through The Ages public artwork on the approach path as part of an intergenerational project with the Bristol 1st Muslim Scout group and the amazingly talented artist Aumairah.
It was exciting to be at the official opening and have our first glimpse of the completed artwork, and to see the first train to arrive at the station.
