Buzz Community Garden
Last week we were delighted to welcome Avon Wildlife Trust to deliver the second free nature play session for families with under 5’s.
43 residents of all ages attended and had lots of fun in the sun.
They watered the plants [and each other!] and became bug detectives finding caterpillars, butterflies, beetles and a baby slow worm.
They had story time with puppets under the shade of the trees, made smelly pots and investigated who lives in our mini ponds.
Before they left our regular volunteers harvested peas, raspberries and blackberries which everyone tried.
What a great space-I didn't know it was here!
Thank you for such a friendly session-we loved it!
It was really nice to hear all about the garden and what you grow.
Why don't you join us every Wednesday and Saturday 10-12pm?
