Mindful walk in Stoke Park

As part of our free guided walks programme we led a Mindful walk on Tuesday 16th July.

We entered the park and stopped for a short while on one of the beautiful carved benches to let ourselves properly arrive and take in nature around us. We walked on to see the views right across Bristol, lingering long enough to connect with how our bodies were feeling and to appreciate the lovely space we were in. From there we went into the woods, finding the Owl family sculpture and resting while taking in the surroundings - the peace and tranquillity.

On to a last stopping point on the chesnut carved benches and taking a long look at the scenery to remember all that we had learnt and shared.

Our walk programme helps you get active, connect, explore and make the most of your neighbourhood.

Join us for a walk to Purdown Gun Battery on Friday 19th July or a Blooming Lockleaze Walk to Revisit the Really Wild Lockleaze developments around Lockleaze Sports Centre on Tuesday 23rd July.
