Work Well- employment support for people with health conditions
Work Well is a new service for individuals who have a health condition that is impacting their ability to work. By providing early intervention support, we can help people to remain in work (those who have a job but may be struggling), return to work (those on a fit note looking to go back to their role) or find new employment (those who are short-term unemployed). Our Work and Health Coaches will work with participants to create a bespoke action plan, based on their needs and goals. This could focus on job searching, CV and interview skills, volunteering, return to work plans, reasonable adjustments, employer liaison, as well as referrals to partner organisations and services such as IPS and various VCSEs. WorkWell is different to many employment services already in place, as it is aimed at both unemployed and employed individuals.
WorkWell is available to anyone 16 and over, living in Bristol, North Somerset, or South Gloucestershire, or registered with a GP in these areas. Individuals can self-refer, or they can be referred through their employer, GP, Social Prescribers, and other organisations. More information can be found on our website – www.workwell.org – where you will also find our referral form, or call 0117 922 3623.
