Stoke Park Estate accessible path consultation update.

Dear all,

Following recent public consultation, an evaluation of the responses and an assessment of a number of options we have now produced a report detailing our response to the consultation and our design review.  These documents can be found at www.travelwest.info/stokeparkestatepath along with the topline results which have already been published. 

Responses from the public consultation, along with other factors, have been taken into account when making our decisions. 

The topline results showed that 52% of respondents supported the council’s preferred path option.  We also received feedback on some aspects of the proposal which are detailed in our consultation response – this has led to changes being made to our initial proposal. 

The proposal will now be submitted to both Bristol and South Gloucestershire Planning Authorities by the end of March 2019.   There will then be an opportunity for those interested to comment on it. We will provide an update when the planning application is submitted.
